White Chocolate Brownies

Grease an 8-inch square pan.
Preheat oven to 350F
Melt (I use a large glass bowl in the microwave to cut down on washing)
165 g butter or margarine (use butter-flavored margarine if pareve)
Add
1½ cup sugar
Add
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (use real vanilla extract, not imitation)
¼ teaspoon salt
3 eggs
Add
½ cup cocoa
1 cup sifted flour
¾ teaspoon baking powder
½ cup chopped nuts (I recommend pecans, plain or chinese sugared pecans)
100 g white chocolate, broken into small pieces (use Oppenheimer's white chips for pareve).
 
Bake 25 to 30 minutes, until just set.
