Easy Brownies
- Grease a 9-inch square pan.
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Melt (I use a large glass bowl in the microwave to cut down on washing)
- 165 g butter or margarine (use butter-flavored margarine if pareve)
- Add
- 1½ cup sugar
- Add
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (use real vanilla extract, not imitation)
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 3 eggs
- Add
- ½ cup cocoa
- 1 cup sifted flour
- ¾ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ cup chopped nuts (I recommend pecans, plain or chinese sugared pecans)
- 100 g white chocolate, broken into small pieces (use Oppenheimer's
white chips for pareve).

- Bake 25 to 30 minutes, until just set.
